The Mediana A16 focuses on being easy to use, with simple voice prompts and up to 3 languages. The AED also utilises POST (Power On Self Test), Periodic testings (Daily, Weekly, Monthly), Pad Quality Checks, BIST (Battery Insertion Self-Test) and more to make sure it is ready to be used in just a moments notice.

How To Use
Step 1 – Open the cover and turn on the unit
Step 2 – Select language, select Adult or Paediatric mode and attach pads to the patient as indicated by the image on the unit
Step 3 – Unit will analyse heart rate and rapidly charge ready to administer the shock
Step 4 – Press the shock button when it begins to flash, indicating a completed charge
Step 5 – After the shock, begin administering CPR to the patient
